Job Position: Regional Logistics Operations Officer

Job Description: The Officer shall be responsible for
  • Raising stock requisitions based on daily and weekly splits as approved by RIS / RIM.
  • Receiving handsets, simkits, recharge cards, POS materials and accessories ordered by Inventory Supervisor from the central warehouse and store it in B2B.
  • Confirming condition and completeness of stock received.
  • Ensuring that stock levels are maintained, reporting imminent stock-outs to Inventory Supervisor.
  • Issuing simkits, recharge cards, POS materials and accessories to the Service Centres, Dealers and to Connect stores from B2B.
  • Issuing stock requested on internal requisitions for staff starter packs, handsets and promotional/ gift items at the request of management.
  • Issuinge replacement handsets and starter packs faulty when requested by S/C Controller following reports of DOA handsets and starter packs received by customers.
  • Returning all DOA stock to Central warehouse
  • Dispatching of all out bound stock from B2B (Hub) to required destinations (spokes) / TP Inventories.
  • Processing requisitions from other B2Bs/Spokes ensuring accurate PODs are raised.
  • Physical dispatchment of processed stock and ensure proper handover to the receiving B2B or Spoke.
  • Timely processing and hand over TP stock to courier for onward delivery to TP inventory
  • Notifying Site Security Supervisor on completion of TP for deliveries
  • Issuing store is tidy and clean and that stock is secure at all times.
  • Conducting daily stock count.
  • Report all stock discrepancies and irregularities to Inventory supervisor.
  • Issuing that Customers are attended to in a timely, courteous and caring manner at all times.
  • Attending to Customer queries relating to used cards, missing cards, Status 3 cards etc and escalate accordingly.
  • Reporting and record of all queries resolutions in soft and hard copies.
  • Escalated Stock losses or theft as reported by Business Partners.
  • Collating, arranging and keeping in an orderly manner all historic documentation of Inventory data (specs, price changes, new products etc) in soft and hard copies.
  • Handling and effecting the timely integration of all manual transactions with the system and maintaining the necessary records of all such transactions are kept for easy audit trail.
  • Identifying and escalating system queries and problems with regards to stock from IFS.
He shall be reporting to Regional Logistics Operations Supervisor

The job conditions is Standard MTN working conditions with permanent employment status

Requirements
Graduate with HND/BSc
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
